These melt in your mouth Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies combine everything you like about chocolate chip cookies.  They’re soft and chewy, crispy on the outside and have a gooey chocolatey center.

When my first son was in Kindergarten I was a room parent. Oh the joy of 28 little kids in one room super excited for there annual holiday party. I’m sure you could imagine the noise level. But of course like any first time room mom the noise didn’t matter I was just happy to take pictures and send them to the grandmas.

While at this particular classroom party one of my fellow room moms baked chocolate chip cookies and man were they good. I still remember biting into that Chocolate Chip Cookie and honestly thinking “This is the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever tasted.”  No joke it was that good. These cookies had a flavor like none I had ever tasted before. I couldn’t put my finger on it so, of courses I had to ask. The answer; Brown Butter!

Brown Butter and LOTS of it is what makes these Cookies so tasty! The Brown Butter gives these cookies a caramel note that is so delicious you’ll have to stop yourself from eating the whole batch alone.

Notes

You’ll Know when they are done when you see cracks in the top of the cookie. They may still look a little underdone at this point, but not over cooking them is what makes them taste so very yummy!
